A Venus high atmosphere exploration airship I designed while working on Futuredude Entertainment film and television projects.

'Why no fins, Emil?' I hear you asking. The answer is that winds are so high in Venus' atmosphere you'd mostly just get carried along where they want anyway. It is also meant to be inflated on location, and stowing fins away as well was an unneeded complication (fro the plot, that is). The transparent skin was mostly for looking more futuristic - the dark patches on top are solar panels.

The main cabin shape was inspired by the Breitling Orbiter and the windows on Burt Rutan's Space Ship One.

While well received, the director (fond of iconically geometric shaped designs) asked me to redesign it as a disc shaped craft. That later version can be seen here.
